The écuelle with gilt-edged white scrolling foliage handles, painted on each side with baskets of pink roses suspended from blue ribbons within elongated oval gilt ciselé cartouches with branches of gilt oak leaves below and joined at the sides by pendant gilt garlands of roses, the ogee domed cover similarly decorated about a gilt pomegranate finial, the circular stand with pierced gilt-edged white foliage handles and similarly decorated about a central circular gilt garland of berried laurel enclosing a gilt bouquet, gilt band rims (écuelle cracked from rim through centre with two minute associated losses, areas of slight wear to rim, finial with two minute chips, further areas of minute wear)
