CIRCA 1735, BLUE AR MONOGRAM MARKS, CENTRAL VASE WITH DREHER'S SEGMENTED CROSS AND MARK
Reserved on each side with panels painted with figures by fortified buildings, a gallant and a lady in a landscape, merchants at discussion by quaysides and a galleon in a fortified port, within elongated shaped quatrefoil dark-brown line and gilt cartouches edged with gilt scrolling foliage and shells at the intersections, the necks with Kakiemon flowers-sprays, the flanking vases with bulbous necks, the central vase with straight white neck, the domed cover with two small vignettes of merchants on quaysides within similar oval quatrefoil cartouches below a gilt cone finial, the cover with a gilt band rim (areas of wear, white necks of flanking vases broken through, repaired and overpainted purple, one vase broken through above footrim and restored, slight chipping to footrims, central vase with section broken from neck and restuck, restored chipping to footrim)
