A pair of Dutch Delft blue and white Chinoiserie vases
CIRCA 1690-1700
Of bottle-shaped form with slender tall necks, each side of both painted with three Oriental ladies in fabulous gardens with fences, rocks, trees and flowering shrubs, divided at the sides by stylised pine trees (?) below a band of spirally-radiating scrolls and a band of ruyi heads at the shoulders, the necks with a continuous double-arched fenced bridge resting on overgrown rocks below a band of lappets at the rims (very slight chipping and flaking to rims of both, footrim of one with slight chipping, both with slight scratches to surface in places)
