A pair of early Art Deco diamond and emerald earpendants
each with carved Indian pear-shaped single emerald drop with diamond and black enamel bead fan shaped surmounts, suspended from a diamond and rose-cut diamond tapering line within a black enamelled line frame, to a diamond single stone stud, circa 1925, in fitted case. (2)

Further details
The colour combination encorporating emeralds with diamonds and black enamel (or onyx) was pioneered by Cartier in the early 1920s. Cartier used Indian emeralds often dating from the late 19th or early 20th century.
