A George III ormolu-mounted red tortoiseshell quarter chiming small table clock

The case with elaborate foliate cast ormolu mounts to the bell top surmounted by a foliate cast handle, the four chamfered angles applied with ormolu pilasters supporting foliate volutes and resting on bifurcated foliate scroll feet, the brass dial now with an Arabic enamel chapter disc with later pierced brass hands, foliate spandrels, the arch applied with a later enamel strike/silent disc, the triple wire fusee movement with five pillars (one removed), later anchor escapement, chiming the quarters on six bells and striking on a further bell, the backplate signed Stephn.
