A George III mahogany and brass-mounted striking table clock with calendar

The case with brass handle to breakarch top, with silk-backed brass fishscale sound frets to the sides, raised on brass bracket feet, the white painted Roman and Arabic dial with strawberry spandrels and inner concentric calendar ring, signed JOS:RHODES HULL, with brass hands, the arch painted with floral spandrels, the five pillar movement with twin gut fusees and now with anchor escapement, strike and trip repeat (lever lacking) on bell, the backplate engraved with scrolling foliage and a basket, secured to the case by two bolts through the lower pillars
