The drum-shaped case on waisted support above concave-angled base, with floral urn finial trailing swags to the sides, inset with Sèvres style porcelain plaques painted with flowers, the white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with pierced gilt-metal hands, the eight day movement with countwheel strike on bell, stamped on the back plate for G. PHILIPPE/PALAIS ROYAL/66 & 67 -- 13½in. (3.5cm.) high
