The typical wide-bodied case with scroll cresting to the hood and ringed pilasters to hood and trunk, above panelled plinth, the 14in. wide painted dial with Continents spandrels to Roman chapter ring signed HY. WOOD..., the centre depicting a young girl with pail, with subsidiary seconds ring and arched date aperture, with rolling moon to the arch above, with falseplate to the eight day four pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on bell -- 90½in.
