Of typical form, with engraved side panels, the dial signed John Barnett at/Lothbury Londini, the eight day twin fusee movement with anchor escapement and striking on bell above, with pendulum holdfast; the dial (now gilded to reverse), chapter ring, bell and straps, hour hand and frame probably late 17th century; adapted in the late 19th century -- 15¼in. (39cm.) high
