The case with architectural pediment and with foliate mounts to the front columns, the base with incised Latin part inscription and raised on milled ormolu feet, with drapery mount below the white enamel Roman and Arabic dial signed Sauvage à Paris, gilt-metal hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell -- 15¾in.
