Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.2 Serial No. 609
(Second reconstruction circa 1914) ½in:1ft scale static display model built by P. Veale with fabric and wood covered wooden airframe, flying and control wires, detailed cockpit with seat, windscreen, flying controls, instruments, 80 hp Gnome rotary engine under aluminium cowlings, two blade propeller and spinner, rubber tyred main undercarriage with shockcord suspension, finished in buff and brown. Wingspan -- 13½in. (34.3cm.). Airstrip plinth and perspex cover
Note: The prototype aircraft served with No.3 Sqdn R.F.C. at Mozenville until 1915.
