circa 1795
the hull of the model is planked in bone over a wooden plug to the waist, and then with altenating bands of tortoise shell and bone the the deck rail. At the bow the model is fitted with a billet head, and at the stern the model is fitted with carved quarter galleries and transom. The deck is fitted with a number of details including a capstan, pin rails, deck gratings, flag staff, and other details. the model is rigged with three masts with standing and running rigging. The model is displayed in a velvet lined oval case with a glass dome.
