A Coalport blue-ground part dessert-service painted by F.Howard and two Derby plates
THE FIRST CIRCA 1900, PRINTED GREEN MARKS, IMPRESSED NUMERALS AND GILT PATTERN NUMBER 2289/C, THE TWO DERBY PLATES CIRCA 1820, IRON-RED D AND CROSSED BATON MARKS
Painted to the centres with a bouquet of garden flowers, signed, within raised gilt shaped circular cartouches, the dark-blue borders richly-gilt with diaper-pattern, scroll and sprigs, within richly-gilt gadrooned rims, comprising: a two-handled shaped-oval dish; two two-handled circular dishes and six plates (very light crazing to painted cartouche to one plate); the two Derby plates painted with a bouquet of flowers to the centre, within a broad dark-blue band painted with three further cartouches of flowers interspersed with gilt palmettes and trailing foliage, within shaped gilt rims
