Putnam & Co., 1856 5 volumes, large 8° (260 x 173mm). 76 (of 77) engraved plates and maps only (15 engraved maps only (12 folding), 61 engraved plates), numerous steel or wood-engraved illustrations. (Lacking one folding map from vol. IV, most plates spotted or browned.) Contemporary light brown/olive half morocco, spines gilt (rubbed).
