Two prints, a young woman guiding the hand of a student holding a brush writing the character shi on decorated paper, from the series Fujin tewaza juniko (Twelve forms of women's handiwork), signed Utamaro hitsu and published by Wakasaya Yoichi; and a courtesan and her client under a mosquito net, signed Utamaro hitsu and published by Yamaguchiya Chusuke--good impressions, the first faded, soiled, foxed, repaired worm holes and rubbed, the second loss upper left corner, wormholes, horizontal creases, stained and rubbed into publisher's seal, laid down oban tate-e: 37.3 x 25.5cm., first; 36 x 28.5cm., second (2)
