An okubi-e (large-head portrait) on a dark silver mica ground of the actor in the play Hana-ayame Bunroku Soga (The iris Soga of the Bunroku era), performed at the Miyako Theater in the fifth month of Kansei 6 (1794), signed Toshusai Sharaku ga and published by Tsutaya Juzaburo--very good impression, gauffrage in robe, trimmed left edge, wear to mica, soiled and worn, worming
