Constructed of black-lacquered leather iyo-zane (lamellae) and laced in dark and pale blue lacing in a stripe pattern, the lowest sections laced in orange, the interiors of the lamellae lacquered gold and the collar, upper half of the interior and lapels applied with blue, green, yellow, orange and white leather printed with family crests, the lapels fastened by gilt-metal buttons carved with foliate scroll on a nanako ground; mauve cords
