Edo period (19th century), signed Koma Koryu saku
Designed with a blind man on a bridge inlaid in various soft metals, the bridge applied with gold foil and the bridge posts inlaid with iridescent shell, also maples, hills and waves rendered in gold takamaki-e and hiramaki-e with kirigane and nashiji highlights on a roiro-nuri ground, the reverse with a continuation of the scene and a bird patinated in shakudo, interior cases fundame and gyobu-nashiji; with a blue glass bead ojime and an amber netsuke
