The first a 'Spring Beauty' weight, inscribed and dated Paul J. Stankard 78/100 A24 1980, set with two striated pink and white flower blossoms, growing from a single stem with two broad green leaves near the base and four burgeoning buds about the flower, on a translucent cobalt-blue ground, 3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) diameter; 2 1/8 in. (5.4 cm.) high; the second a dogwood blossom from the 'American Floral Series', with a 'PS' cane to the underside, inscribed and dated A363 47/75 1973 c, composed of four curled opaque white petals tipped in manganese about a yellow stamen center, with three striated green sepals, growing from a short manganese stem, on a cobalt-blue ground, 2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) diameter; 1 5/8 in. (4.2 cm.) high; the third a lady's slipper weight, from the same series, similarly marked and dated, edition no. 47/50, the opaque pink orchid with three large sepals, growing from a curved stem with two large shaded green petals at the base, on a cobalt-blue ground, 2½ in.
