The handle formed as a coiled snake, with domed fluted base and engraved cornelian matrix -- 3/4in. (2cm.); a gold-cased fob seal, the base and handle with chased foliage, the bloodstone matrix with engraved crest and initials -- 1 1/8in. (3cm.); and a gold fob seal, with simple wirework and shell handle and reeded base, the crystal matrix with engraved initials within an ornate shield -- 1 3/8in. (3.5cm.) (3)
