The handle formed as two sinuous serpents supporting a fruit, the cornelian matrix with engraved dog on a rocky outcrop and the phrase, "Faithful to his Friend" -- 1 3/8in. (3.4cm.); a gold fob seal with cast scrollwork handle, the base with cast foliate frieze, the bloodstone matrix with engraved coat of arms -- 1 1/8in. (3cm.); and a gold-cased fob seal, the handle with stamped scrollwork and foliate supported crowns, the cornelian matrix with engraved crest and initial -- 1 3/8in. (3.4cm.) (3)
