the case surmounted by the figure of a classically draped young woman reclining against a plinth with a lyre, on rocky ground, the base inset with painted porcelain Sevres style plaques depicting cherubs and flowers, cast with leaves and with foliate mounts, the white enamel Roman dial with blued trefoil hands within beaded bezel, with running flowerhead mount, a peacock with spread wings below, the twin going barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell -- 18in.(46cm.) wide
