The mother modelled standing wearing a straw hat and long dress painted with blue circles and flowersprays, carrying a basket with a duck, holding hands with her boy who stands by her side, wearing blue overall and carrying a black hat, on a grassy green mound applied with sprigs, on a marbled rectangular base (minor chipping and glaze losses)
