A good early 20th-Century pigskin-covered 1 5/8-inch "Davon" telescope,
stamped DAVIDSON LONDON and 152, the 7-inch long body-tube with ray-shade and eyepiece extension tube with rack and pinion focusing, threaded to unscrew for use as a microscope with 2in. Davon objective, raised in a brass collar on a vertical plate moving between two uprights, mounted on a folding tripod table stand with steel legs or an iron rod with threaded end, with Davon no.2 and no.5 eyepieces (no.5 not threaded), in a fitted leather case with buckles and carrying strap -- 38.8cm.
