Five various late 19th/early 20th-Century clinometers,
a Watkin clinometer by SIEMENS BROS & CO. MAKERS 793 LONDON 1892, with graduated vertical cylinder, threaded for adjustment, bubble level and brass frame, in a triangular mahogany case -- 26.2cm. (10 3/8in.) wide; a Middle-Eastern brass clinometer/gunner's level, unsigned, comprising a triangular brass plate on a flat base, with degree scale and bubble level on an arm with vernier and rack and pinion adjustment, the graduations in Arabic, in a triangular fruitwood case -- 19.9cm. (7 7/8in.) wide; a steel Louis-Davis clinometer by JOHN DAVIS & SON DERBY LTD, the adjustable arm with twin folding sights and bubble level, on a compass hinge with graduated scale from the main frame incorporating a gimballed compass with edgebar needle and clamp, and bubble level, the underside threaded for staff mounting, in a fitted mahogany case -- 20cm. (7 7/8in.) wide; an oxidised-brass miniature clinometer by J.H. STEWARD 406 STRAND LONDON, the sighting tube with draw-tube adjustment, vertical half-circle with degree scale and vernier arm with worm-screw adjustment and bubble level -- 10cm.
