Cal. 14''' gilt-finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf's tooth winding, gold cuvette with engraved inscription J.A.R. to S.E.R. 1878, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands, subsidiary seconds, the engine-turned case with translucent blue enamel and diamond-set floral decoration to both sides, together with an associated matching 18K gold, blue enamel and diamond-set châtelaine, the winged shield-shaped terminal with inlaid gold and diamond-set initials SER, and a braided gold, blue enamel and diamond-set gold chain with fob and tassels, case numbered, cuvette signed and numbered, movement numbered underneath the dial
