BLUE PRINTED INTERLACED L'S ENCLOSING A FLEUR-DE-LYS AND SEVRES MARK, GILDER'S MD 8 XBRE TO THE CUP AND INCISED DC H, THE SAUCER INCISED 8D, 1814-1824
Painted on the gold ground with faux faceted jewels in gilt bezels and faux-pearl surrounds and en grisaille with putti at leisure pursuits on a faux lapis ground, these linked with burnished gilt chains on the matte gold ground, edged with faux pearls on the lavender ground painted with a band of faux ruby cabochons and gilt scrolls centering other 'jewels', the interior of the cup burnished gold
2 7/8 in. (7.3 cm.) high, the cup; 5 5/8 in. (14.3 cm.) diameter, the saucer (2)
