Jean-Baptiste Pignit, maître in 1777.

Since Pignit worker for several other ébénistes and marchands such as Etienne Avril, Léonard Boudin and Jean-Baptiste Tuart, there are not many pieces signed with his own stamp. Although his atelier in rue Saint-Nicolas did produce sober pieces known for their high quality mahogany veneers.
