In the manner of Jean-Henri Riesener, Third quarter 19th Century
The arched cornice applied with an urn and trailing foliage, above a frieze decorated in colours with scrolling stylised dragons, the front with a pair of hinged panelled doors decorated with animals and figures in landscapes engaged in various pursuits, opening to four adjustable shelves, the lock-plate engraved with a landscape and scrolling foliage, the sides with similar polychrome panels, the canted stop-fluted angles headed with scrolled volutes and terminating in scrolled sabots, the reverse with partial inventory label indisctinctly inscribed [...]/Chambre/[...]/1896
