拍品專文

Terukane was a pupil of Echigo no kami Kanesada, and signed also Echigo no kami Kanesada until around 1680, shortly before this sword was made. From then on he used the family surname 'Sakakura' and 'Gon no Shin'. This blade is a typical Osaka shinto of the period, with the flamboyant toramba [billowing] hamon favoured by Sukehiro and his son Sukenao (see Lot 42).
