TWO FINAL SIGHTINGS OF THE VICTORY; DOLLARS FOR NELSON'S FLEET
TORBAY SEPT 17TH Last night after Post the Victory man of war Admiral Lord Nelson reached close into Torbay in company with the Tribune frigate and Pluto sloop of war; his Lordship did not bring to, but proceeded to the Westward, in company with the frigate. The Pluto remains in Torbay with the Saracen brig of War. (Back page col. 4 - 2cm of col. space); PLYMOUTH Sept 17 Arrived this morning at eight o'clock, the Victory of 100 guns, Vice Admiral Lord Nelson in company with a frigate which he sent in to call out the ships ready here, when the Ajax and Thunderer of 74 guns each, sailed to join him.
