The 4in. silvered dial signed and numbered Thomas Mercer 20124, Roman hour numeral, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials, blued steel hands, matt gilt frames, Earnshaw escapement, cut bi-metallic balance with cylindrical heat compensation weights, palladium helical balance spring, Mercer flat strip-steel detent with jewelled locking pallet, brass bowl, gimballed in mahogany plain two-tier box with glazed top -- 7in.
