With spreading foot and moulded raised collar around the shoulder rising to a slender neck and short upturned mouth, brightly enamelled around the body with an elderly fisherman preparing his line which he has looped around his toes, assisted by a young boy with a bamboo stick and a basket beside a gnarled willow tree
