Lot Essay

The drawing shows two versions of Omega Workshops chairs, the one with the rounded top being very rare. Vanessa Bell is seen with her younger son, Quentin, then about eight years old. The drawing was once the property of Paul Roche who cared for Duncan Grant at the time of his death.
