Pessac (Graves), cru classé. Château-bottled
Tasting note: decanted 5.45pm, first noted at 7.15pm: deep rich, opaque core; earth and iron. By 8.45pm it was 'showing its all': fairly sweet, rich, touch of iron, dry finish, drinking well. Two hours later, the remains in my glass exuded a soft, rich mocha. M.B. (June 2000)
