For another miniature of this sitter, see lot 255. The Royal Neapolitan Order of the Two Sicilies was founded by Joseph Bonaparte when King of Naples, on 24 February 1808 and kept by his two followers, Joachim Murat and King Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies.
