Formed of a length of figure-8 loop-in-loop chain, one end terminating in a hook, the other end with a medallion composed of a domed disk with filigree at the center, framed by ribbon and beaded wires; together with a Roman gold and pearl earring now suspended as a pendant, the faceted hoop with beaded filigree wire on the edges, supporting an elaborate cluster of hollow spheres and granules, a central tang now set with a modern pearl
