A CASED VICTORIAN SILVER-GILT MOUNTED ENGRAVED GLASS CLARET JUG
MARK OF JOHN FIGG, LONDON, 1875
The ovoid glass body with engraved grape vine and leaf motifs surrounding vacant cartouches and further engraved with masks, with a silver-mounted foot and neck, with a detachable stopper and a female nude and bacchic finial, contained in a fitted case - 16¼in. (41.2cm.) high.
