Painted with Turks in exotic wooded landscapes, the cup with a bearded figure holding a pipe and at discussion with a seated companion, within an oval gilt band cartouche against a shaped gilt border with diaper and oeil de perdrix ornament panels enclosed by gilt scrolling foliage, the saucer with two figures at discussion within a circular gilt band cartouche and similar border, gilt dentil rims (minute areas of wear to gilding, saucer with very slight scratch and minute scratches)
