A tunic of black velvet, the front panel of yellow wool elaborately embroidered with a stylised foliage design in black beads and rhinestones, with slashed sleeves revealing a 'false' shirt of white cotton, with Banks & Hutchings label inscribed in black ink, Production: Giselle Act II, Name: Mr Nureyev -- worn by Rudolf Nureyev in the role of Prince Albrecht in Giselle circa 1960s; and another similar costume, unlabelled, also thought to have been worn by Nureyev in the same role (2)
