Chancery 4° (187 x 133mm). Gothic type, two initials supplied in red, first and final quires rubricated. (Without blanks t9,10, light marginal dampstain, lightly browned.) Modern vellum, earlier blue edges. Provenance: extensive annotations (trimmed) -- The Most Reverend Maurus Compartus, 1678 (ink inscription on title) -- F. Fasting, Rio de Janeiro (book-stamp).

Third edition of Part II with this commentary with the variant 'utillssma' on aii. NO COPY IN AMERICA. HC *14761; GW 1153.
