CIRCA 1725, THE DECORATION ALMOST CONTEMPORARY, LUSTRE // TO SAUCER
Decorated at Augsburg in the Seuter workshop with three vignettes of Oriental figures to the saucer and birds in branches to the interior of the teabowl, the gilt borders edged with beaded C-scrolls, the teabowl exterior and underside of the saucer moulded with fruiting vines enriched in green, blue, puce and gilding (minor chipping and restoration to rim of teabowl, slight wear to gilding)
