With a short reeded spout and lozenge-section handle with pointed scrolls, the bullet-form lobed body with two turquoise-ground panels reserved with scattered flower-sprays, the sides painted with scenes after Watteau of gallants and companions in landscapes, within black line panels and gilt bands of scrolling foliage centred by shells at the top, the domed quatrefoil white cover with two vignettes flanking a flower finial, within a gilt band rim, the spout, finial and handle upper terminal with silver-gilt collars and a chain attachment to a gilt ring about the finial (minor chipping to finial, minute chip to rim of cover, mount on spout disguises a very small chip)
