Of quatrefoil section, painted with harbour scenes with figures in conversation, within a purple line and gilt band quatrefoil panel, the footrim and shoulder richly gilt, the cover with similar ornament (patches of wear to gilding on shoulder and to the gilder's mark of the cover)
