CIRCA 1737-41, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, DREHER'S MARK OF A CROSS WITHIN A CIRCLE TO THE FOOTRIM
Modelled by J.J. Kändler and J.F. Eberlein, of typical form, crisply moulded with two swans and a heron among bulrushes, a heron in flight above against a spiral shell-moulded ground, the border centred by the Brühl arms supported by lions below blue mantling, flanked by three sprays of flowers in the Kakiemon style and scattered flowerheads below a shaped gilt-dentil rim (small chip to rim at 11 o'clock, small areas of wear to glaze of lower part, blemish to left of heron in flight)
