The ozier-moulded ground reserved with four gilt-edged quatrefoil panels about a central quatrefoil panel, the central panel painted with a harbour scene with merchants at discussion, the four panels each with estuary scenes with figures in boats and on quaysides with towers, gates and gabled buildings, lobed gilt band rim (rim chip at 9 o'clock, areas of wear to surface around the well and to central gilt cartouche, central panel with minute areas of wear)
