CIRCA 1720-25, THE DECORATION CONTEMPORARY
Decorated in Schwarzlot and gilding in the Breslau workshop of Ignaz Preissler with hunting scenes after engravings by Antonio Tempesta, one with two figures pursuing an ostrich on horseback with hounds, another figure on foot holding the bird by a rope, in a desert landscape with palm trees, the other with huntsmen in two boats with muskets, gathering ducks into a net by the riverbank with dogs, observed by figures on the bank nearby (second saucer with slight chipping to rim at 5 o'clock and minute chip at 10 o'clock, both with areas of wear to enamels and slight wear to gilding)
