A PAIR OF ZÜRICH WHITE CANDLESTICKS
CIRCA 1775, UNDERGLAZE BLUE Z AND .. MARKS
Each of slightly tapering columnar form with lobed rims, the lower parts moulded with acanthus above knops, the domed pierced feet moulded with further scrolling acanthus suspending laurel swags, above stepped bases moulded with reeds bound with ribbons (one restored below knop and to a footrim chip, chipping to underside of footrim, other with rim chip)
