The frosted gilt chased, engraved and skeletonised movement in Chinese style, with hanging barrel, jewelled to the centre, the cut bimetallic balance with ruby endstone and crab's claw duplex escapement, under gilt cuvette, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic quarter hour marks, blued steel hands, in plain silver case
