The frosted gilt bar movement jewelled to the third, the uncut bimetallic balance with flat blued steel hairspring and lever escapement, the hours and quarters sounded by turning a lever in the band through ninety degrees, turning the lever further in the band and continuing to turn the winder will sound the elapsed quarters, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, in chased and engraved silver case with hinged cuvette
